What are Non-Surgical Treatments?

Line and Wrinkle Relaxation (i.e. Botox)

Botulinum Toxin is one of the most common treatments used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. A specially formulated protein is injected using a very fine needle into the affected muscle. It works by blocking the nerves signals to the injected area which in turn relaxes the muscles and reduces wrinkles to that area. This can last 3-4 months.

Permanent Hair Reduction

The Intense Light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the melanin in the hair. This absorption heats the hair, with the heat being transported to the nourishment structure of the hair (follicle). This is heated up for a milliseconds only thus destroying the follicle. Hundreds of follicles are destroyed by each flash, and the hairs that have been successfully targeted and which are in the correct stage of growth fall out in 2 weeks or less. Prior to the hairs falling out you can continue to shave as normal.

Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic acid is a natural, major component of the skin. It helps to hydrate, lubricate and make the face well rounded and smooth. As we age, the levels of hyaluronic acid reduces; causing wrinkles, loss of volume and roundness to the face. Fillers are injected under the wrinkle to lift from the inside and smooth accordingly.

Facial Peels are an excellent procedure for the treatment of aging skin, fine lines, acne, acne scarring and skin discolouration. We provide two types of peels and a range of medical skin care products which are used in conjunction with the peels.
